Biography
Molly Weir, PA-C began offering Primary Care Services from the Thompson Falls Family Medicine office in April 2025.
Weir, who grew up in western Michigan, studied biochemistry in her undergraduate studies and was originally planning to go into medical research. Working in a lab left her feeling isolated though and she missed connecting with people. She spent some time working as a nursing assistant and loved that she could be both hands-on and spend time with patents. This led her to later pursue a career as a Physician Assistant.
After training in New York City, as well as some areas in upstate New York, Weir realized how much she wanted to build a practice in a rural community where she could fully immerse herself and build meaningful connections with her patients.
Outside of work Weir enjoys anything outdoors! Hiking, running, fishing, camping, skiing, golfing, kayaking....you name it, she's up for it. She is also passionate about the wilderness and wildlife conservation. She is an avid reader, huge animal lover and enjoys jazz and alternative/indie music.
Weir relocated to Thompson Falls with her fiancé who is a data engineer for the Yankees baseball team. They have two dogs, a lab mix and a schnoodle.
