Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance Program (FAP)
Clark Fork Valley Hospital and Family Medicine Network is committed to providing financial assistance to persons who have healthcare needs and are unable to pay for medically necessary care based on their household financial situation.
Persons interested in applying for financial assistance must submit a completed application and required documentation (listed on the application). Applications can be mailed to you free of charge,or you can obtain them from registration locations, access them directly from our website or request assistance from one of our financial counselors.
Qualified applicants can receive discounts ranging from 39 percent to 100 percent based on ability to pay. If eligibility for financial assistance is determined, these discounts are applied to emergent and medically necessary services provided by Clark Fork Valley Hospital and Family Medicine Network. The program discounts ensure that no patient eligible for financial assistance will be asked to pay more than the hospital's "Amount Generally Billed" to Medicaid, Medicare and Commercial payers. Services not deemed medically necessary by a medical provider shall not be covered under this FAP.
Hospice Financial Assistance
The Clark Fork Valley Hospital Hospice Program conducts fundraising activities throughout the year and utilizes those funds to assist patients who do not have insurance or other resources to pay for hospice services. Within the hospice program, we are committed to ensuring that every patient who wishes to take advantage of hospice end-of-life care may do so without regard for their ability to pay.
