Inpatient Food Services

Upon admission, the hospitalist assigned to your care will prescribe the appropriate diet for you during your stay with us. During the acute phase of your illness, meals will automatically be delivered to your room. However, once you become well enough you may order your meals through our room service program, which allows you to choose food items from a customized menu according to your prescribed diet plan.

Meals are served at the following times throughout the day.

• Breakfast - 8 AM
• Lunch - Noon
• Dinner - 5 PM

Occasionally your meal may be delayed if you are scheduled for a special test or treatment. Whenever possible, you will be served after your examination or test.

If you choose to order from our customized menu, you may place your order any time before 5 PM by dialing extension 68822 from your room phone.

Cafeteria

The cafeteria is open throughout the day for the friends and family of our inpatients. Various beverages, including complimentary coffee and tea, and snacks are available. In addition, hot meals are served for lunch and dinner between the hours of noon to 1:15 PM and 5 to 6 PM, respectively. Guests are welcome to purchase meals in the cafeteria and bring them back to the patient room if they wish to do so. In the event your visitor is unable or not wanting to leave your bedside, a guest meal can be delivered to your room.

Coffee Corner

The cafeteria additionally offers espresso and specialty drinks between the hours of 7:30 AM and3 PM from the Coffee Corner. Daily and seasonal specials are available as well as snack items for purchase.
