CFVH scholarship

Clark Fork Valley Hospital is committed to supporting and improving healthcare services in Sanders County. As part of this commitment, our Governing Board provides an annual scholarship for Sanders County residents who are seeking a career in healthcare.

The potential two-year scholarship will be available to residents seeking a career in an allied health field. Each scholarship will award up to $2,500 per year for tuition and fees and is renewable the year after the scholarship is initially awarded. In addition, the student must continuously maintain good academic standing and maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Upon completion of their academic program, the student will be expected to apply to work at Clark Fork Valley Hospital and, if hired, work for a minimum of two years at the prevailing wage. If the student desires to work elsewhere or chooses to leave employment before the end of the two-year period, they must pay the hospital back their scholarship to release them from this obligation. This arrangement will be similar in structure to any other repayment agreement that the hospital enters into with an employee. The hospital has no obligation to hire the individual, and the extension of the scholarship is not to be considered an offer to work.
