Primary Care

Patient diagnosis, care and treatment are the goals of the medical professionals that provide you with care at Clark Fork Valley Hospital and our Family Medicine Network.

Our primary care providers are a group of highly skilled professionals who are committed to bringing excellent healthcare to Sanders County and its surrounding communities. Whether they are seeing patients on a regular basis in one of our Family Medicine offices, a specialist who treats patients on a limited basis or a consultant who is called in on special occasions, our staff of physicians are professionals who treat each patient as if they were family.

In addition to physicians, the Clark Fork Valley Family Medicine Network utilizes the services of another type of skilled provider, the Physician Assistant (PA). PAs are licensed and formally trained to provide diagnosis, therapeutic and preventive healthcare services delegated by a physician working as members of our healthcare team. They take medical histories, perform physical examinations, order and interpret lab tests, diagnose and treat illnesses, suture lacerations, assist in surgery, and write prescriptions.

Family Medicine Network

The Clark Fork Valley Family Medicine Network provides a unique base of service to Sanders County with three Family Medicine offices and an extensive rehabilitation program including one off-site Rehab office. Additional services are offered by our network of specialty care providers to keep your medical care closer to home, family and friends.

Identifying and successfully treating medical conditions before they become serious enough to require hospitalization or emergency treatment is an essential reason to establish care with a primary care provider, (PCP). Regularly scheduled visits with your PCP will provide an understanding of potential health risks, continuity of care, pharmacy assistance and access to additional health resources.

Our unique structure enables us to provide additional on-site services, including laboratory testing (hemoglobin A1C, pro-times, urine chemistry and microalbumin), diagnostic imaging with online Radiologist reading capability, EKGs and Rehabilitation Services at each of our Family Medicine Network office locations so that you don't have to visit another healthcare facility for your regular PCP visits.
