Biography
Paul Coats, FNP, Neurologist from Logan Health, provides Neurology services currently via telemedicine at Plains Family Medicine.
Dr. Coats rejoined Logan Health’s Neuroscience and Spine program in 2009 after a year in private practice. His extensive career includes eight years at Glacier Neurological Associates, seven years with the CSKT Tribal Health, and eight years in public health. Dr. Coats has been honored twice as Montana’s Nurse Practitioner of the Year.
Dr. Coats' professional interests include advances in the diagnosis and treatment of dementia, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, and concussion.
Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, hiking, gardening, traveling, tackling home projects, engaging in cultural and community activities, and cherishing his roles as a devoted husband and father.
