Having your information included in BSCC can help healthcare providers deliver better care and could even save your life. In an emergency, health care providers might use the health information exchange to instantly access your important health records, including allergies, medications, and medical conditions.

We encourage you to discuss any potential optout request with your provider office regarding the extent to which you do or don't want your health information shared, and how your provider can accommodate the request.
