The program is designed to rebalance the body through simultaneous stretching and strengthening. The techniques of Pulling Up and Turning Out are directly derived from ballet. Using arms overhead is unique to Essentrics. These techniques protect the hips, relieve and heal back and knee pain, improve circulation, improve alignment, and increase energy. People feel light, strong, and tall after finishing a workout.
Other benefits include rebalancing the body, improved posture, well being, body awareness, flexibility, joint protection, fascia adjustment, keeps muscle cells alive, flexibility, balance, anti-aging, and strength.
Modifications can be made for those with injuries and various orthopedic considerations as well as those with severe osteoporosis.
Registration is for the 6 Week series of classes. there is only one registration option so even if you are planning to attend a class other than the time that is listed, that is fine.
Please bring payment to the first session you attend. If you choose to pay on a weekly basis, you may choose whether you would like to apply a 1 class/wk or 2 class/wk payment.
