Biography
Lydia Countryman, PTA was born and raised in Germany and first came to the US as a student of Troy High School. After permanently relocating to the states in 2008, she worked at the True Value hardware store in Troy for a number of years before deciding to further her education. She started taking pre-health classes and soon became interested in physical therapy.
Upon graduation from Flathead Valley Community College and earning her Physical Therapy Assistants degree she began her job search which led her to CFVH. CFVH offered her exposure to a variety of patient diagnoses and care settings including inpatient, outpatient and home health.
"My professional goal is to treat and teach each person individually based on their specific needs," she shared. "I am particularly interested in the field of women’s health and would like to become more proficient in this specialty area in the future through continuing education courses. I believe that physical therapy is often underutilized as a great treatment option for such issues as incontinence and pelvic pain."
Countryman enjoys the small town atmosphere and recreational outdoor activities this area has to offer. Some of my hobbies include hiking, kayaking, fishing and snowboarding.
