Biography

Laurie Endres, PT joined CFVH in February 2022 as the Rehabilitation Services Manager. She has worked in smaller independent community hospital systems before and was looking for something similar when she came to CFVH.

"I like working in smaller community hospitals because I really enjoy treating patients and developing programs that positively impact people at all stages and ages and with a wide range of diagnosis," explained Endres.

Endres became interested in physical therapy in college while exploring different career paths. She shadowed a therapist and did some volunteer work that allowed her to quickly realize she had found her calling.

"There is really nothing better than moments when patients achieve goals, when therapists who I work with develop new skills and when I have been able to grow programs and services that have furthered the health of the community where I work and live," shared Endres.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1987, she lived in Minnesota, Germany, Alabama and Georgia. She returned to Wisconsin after her son was born so she could be closer to family.

She called Beloit, Wisconsin home for 26 years while she built her career as a Physical Therapist. Her experience is vast including management of a larger rehabilitation department that had 7 clinic locations as well as Occupational Health.

Endres has two grown sons and enjoys to hike, bike, kayak and run in her spare time.
