Biography
Eddie Amberg, PA-C was born and raised in Anaconda, Montana. He graduated from Montana Tech in Occupational Safety and Health, and then earned his Masters degree in Medical Science from Midwestern University. After completing PA-C school, he completed the Emergency Medicine Graduate Certificate program through West Virginia University, and earned his Certificate of Additional Qualifications from the National Certification Council of Physician Assistants.
Amberg previously worked at Granite County Medical Center in Philpsburg, MT where he served for over 8 years in a variety of settings. He was also the Director of Advance Practice Providers and the Rural Health Clinic. He brings with him experience from a Level III trauma center as well as extensive hospitalist and internal medicine work. Coming to CFVH, he is mostly excited about a new place, new people and a new area of Montana to venture in and explore.
While emergency and critical care medicine are areas of medicine that he truly enjoys, he is also very interested in occupational and preventative medicines as well.
Outside of work, Amberg enjoys staying active in his local community. Prior to moving to Plains, he remained an active member of several civic groups and also served as the medical director of multiple EMS agencies and Volunteer Fire departments. Amberg loves the outdoors and everything it has offer.
