Student art showcased at hospital

The walls at Clark Fork Valley Hospital will burst with color and creativity soon. The walls that host Art on the Walls quarterly gallery have been blank between displays, but that changed Tuesday evening, January 10, with the opening reception of the Student Show of Art on the Walls.

Artwork in various mediums are now on display featuring pieces created by county students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. Under the direction of their art teachers, students have picked their favorite works to be submitted to the art show that lightens the hospital halls for patients, visitors and staff. The Sanders County Arts Council has been the proud sponsor and creator of the art show that features

The opening reception featured music from other talented students and delectable snacks were served up by Pro Start, a special catering program at Hot Springs High School.
