Hospital offers free lunch with learning
by Sanders County Ledger
There's no such thing as a free lunch, but there is something better.
How about free lunch and an opportunity to learn?
Brandy Kincheloe, the community health improvement specialist at Clark Fork Valley Hospital said the entity has inaugurated a lunch and learning program where the meal is complimentary (for the first 10 participants) and then there’s an educational program that will cover a range of health topics.
Last week, for example, Tuesday's offering was a presentation on the Sanders County Cancer Network by Kathy Miller.
The next session will be June 24 and it will center on the power of positive thinking with a talk by Chris Magdalene of Sanders County Coalition for Families.
The July 8 session will delve into the techniques of healthy juicing by Stan Stanhope of the hospital’s department of physical therapy.
Finally, the July 29 offering will be the safety, maintenance and etiquette of biking.
The learning is free and the first 10 enrollees for each session receive a free lunch. There is additional seating available and then a small fee for the lunch after the 10. For more information, call Kincheloe at 826-4669 or go to visit the hospital’s website.
