Chicks'n Chaps donate $2,000 to CFVH
The Sanders County Chapter of Chicks’n Chaps presented Dr. Greg Hanson, Clark Fork Valley Hospital CEO, a check for $2,000 to put towards free and reduced rate mammogram screenings for women in Sanders County. The $2,000 was half of the proceeds they made at their women’s rodeo clinic held during the Sanders County Fair earlier this year that also benefited the Cancer Network of Sanders County.
The hospital has now developed a Think Pink Fund that will be earmarked specifically for free and reduced rate breast cancer screenings and services for women in Sanders County. The $2,000 was the first donation to the fund followed by generous donations by the Plains High School Booster club and the Hot Springs High School volleyball team who raised funds through the month of October.
An application process is currently being developed and more information on how to apply for Think Pink gifts will be shared by the end of the year.
