CFVH Covid-19 Update - 8/3/22 - Moderna Vaccines for Minors

The FDA has authorized the use of Moderna C19 Vaccine for minors
CFVH will begin offering Moderna C19 Vaccines for minors age 6 months – 17 years of age with the consent of a parent or guardian beginning August 19, 2022.
Three age appropriate dosage types of the Moderna vaccine will be offered based on the following age brackets:
- 6 months - 5 years
- 6 years - 11 years
- 12 years +
The Moderna Covid-19 Vaccine includes a 2-dose primary series of the age-appropriate product spaced 4 - 8 weeks apart.
If your child is immunocompromised or you need more information on children and Covid-19 vaccinations, please consult with your primary healthcare provider.
