CFVH Covid-19 Update - 2/3/22

The FDA has authorized use of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine for minors age 5 - 17.
CFVH has developed a waiting list for minors under the age of 18 who are ready to get the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccination with the consent of a parent/guardian.
If your child is immunocompromised or you need more information on children and Covid-19 vaccinations, please consult with your primary healthcare provider.

Pfizer Covid-19 Vaccines include a 2-dose primary series of the age-appropriate product spaced 21 days apart. Additionally,
  • Moderately or severely immunocompromised people 12 years of age and older should receive an additional primary dose of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine at least 28 days after the 2-dose primary series.
  • Children ages 12-17 can get a booster dose 5 months after primary series.
