CFVH Covid-19 Update - 1/21/22 - At Home Antigen Testing Kits

Friday, January 21, 2022

The Omicron variant of Covid-19 has certainly arrived in Sanders County. Like most of the country and Montana we are seeing a surge of Covid-19 which is impacting our schools and businesses across the county. This most current form of the illness is tending to not be as severe, however, the sheer numbers of individuals infected is larger than we have seen previously and we are entering flu and cold season as well. This has led to a sharp increased use of our free drive-through testing program. We know that this service has been well received, and has been beneficial for many in the community and it is our intention to continue this service. However, testing supplies are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain, which is likely to lead to limiting this service. The federal government has now made at home testing kits available through a US Postal Service website. I would encourage everyone to request the 4 tests per household that are available.
