CFVH - Covid-19 Update - 10-27-21 - C19 Moderna Booster Vaccinations Now Available
CFVH is now offering Moderna Covid-19 Booster vaccinations to those who qualify.
What you need to know
The Pfizer and Moderna vaccine have been approved for those who have completed their initial vaccine series at least 6 months prior.
Individuals who qualify are:

Age 65 and older, or
-
Ages 18 - 64 at increased risk of Covid exposure due to occupation or residing in an institutional setting, or
-
Ages 18-64 with an underlying medical condition
The Moderna booster has been approved for those immunocompromised who have completed their initial vaccine series at least 28 days prior.
The FDA has also authorized the use of a single booster dose (Pfizer or Moderna) for those who have received the Johnson and Johnson vaccine at least 2 months prior.
People may receive either the Pfizer or Moderna Covid-19 vaccines as a booster dose after completion of their primary series, even if the booster is a different vaccine.
At CFVH, the Moderna vaccine is the only vaccine/booster available.
