Sacchi has lived in the area for five years, currently residing in Thompson Falls.

When asked what interests him in healthcare today, Sacchi stated, "Affordable quality care at reasonable rates."

Sacchi joined the Clark Fork Valley Hospital Governing Board in December 2008 because he considered it an opportunity to serve the community and to develop an understanding of the operational aspect of the hospital.   

Sacchi works for the United States Postal Service as the Postmaster in Thompson Falls.  He received his education from the University of North Dakota / DeVry and specialized in business management and operational efficiency.  In his current position, he is part of a team that goes into Post Offices within the district to review operations. The team then makes suggestions to streamline operations and assess cost savings to the changes.
 
Sacchi and his wife, Debby, of 21 years have two kids; Siena - 18, a freshman at the University of Montana and son Shawn - 15, a sophomore at Thompson Falls high school. 

He is diverse in his interests from hunting, fishing, skiing, snowmobiling, backpacking, and rafting to reading, landscaping and construction which he enjoys in his spare time.

Sacchi additionally serves on the board for the Community Harvest Food Bank and for the SHEC Community Center. He is also a member of the Elks in which he used to be a trustee.
