Erika Lawyer
Chairperson (Plains)
Erika Lawyer has lived in Sanders County for almost 30 years, with the exception of going to school at the U of M. There she received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After a brief stint working in a bank, some retail, and at the hospital, she has settled in at McGowans Grocery where she currently manages the office and does financial statements for three to four businesses.
Lawyer enjoys downhill skiing, reading, scrapbooking, jogging and travelling. She stays busy taking care of two boys, Wyatt (8) and Jake (6).
Lawyer wanted to serve on the Clark Fork Valley Hospital Governing Board because she was excited about all the positive change and growth the hospital has been experiencing over the last few years. She says, "I am so grateful that we have a quality facility with top-notch providers, nursing staff and support staff. It’s been such a great learning experience and I feel honored to serve with such smart, capable, experienced and quality individuals who care so much about their communities."
Volunteering is also something Lawyer enjoys as she volunteers for the Wildhorse Youth Soccer Association as a board member and coach and the Plains Golf Association as the Treasurer.
